Love LOUD with Jasper

Tonight was sooo... sweet! Jasper's Love LOUD project was to go to her choir teacher's house, put goodie plates together, deliver it to the neighbors, and sing them a song. (Love God, Love Others) The kids were too cute doing this, we let the kids do the talking and singing. They did AWESOME!!! After they were done we went back to Brandi's house and had our snacks.

A Fun-Filled Weekend

Well, let me start off with a fun-filled weekend......posted a little late. (sorry!)

I had some issues with my computer at night so I had to squeeze time in during the day to do this.

On Saturday we spent the day in Athens, just so you know John's favorite thing to do, a true passion!!!! We had a good day, I think the girls had a really good time. A little unprepared for the amount of walking though. Those little legs can only go so far. Savannah was ecstatic to be there, I am not quite sure she could have been happier. Taelynn has decided that she is going to be a cheerleader when she grows up and Jasper LOVED Uga, the bulldog! Here are a few cute pics from the day.

On Sunday we went to the Berry Patch Farm and picked out pumpkins. Another great day! My most memorable moment from this day was Jasper telling Taelynn that the cracks in the pumpkins is where Jesus gets in. He gets inside and gets all the bad stuff out, just like in us. I almost cried listening to her tell that to Taelynn. She really has asked a lot of questions lately about Jesus. I could not be more proud of her. I can't wait for her to truly accept Jesus in her heart.

My kids had soooo..... much fun today!!! While I cleaned house they were outside raking leaves and enjoying the awesome day. What good is all the hard work if you can't play just a little? Well a lot!!!! Here are some pix of just how much fun they had.

John's Birthday

Today was Jasper's 1st T-Ball game! It was too cute to see all these little kids, not knowing what to do out there and all the adults yelling run, run. Some of them even would be running the bases then go after the ball instead of running to the next base. Jasper did not want to play this at first but I think she is having fun now. She did so good, I am proud of you Jasper!!!! Here are a few pictures:

"THE BEST DADDY"

My girls have the best Daddy in the world. This morning my girls woke up to have donuts for breakfast, because their AWESOME Daddy got up extra early and drove to dunkin donuts for them. Not to mention that we are spoiled just about 2 to 3 times a week with a surprise breakfast. We couldn't have it any better!

Well, this evening I have been, shall we say, attached to the computer and most daddy's would not like that to much when you have 4 kids running around the house and not in bed. My man on the other hand takes all of them outside to collect sticks "treasures" as the little ones call them, then while the big kids, Savannah and her new friend Kasey, finish their project upstairs John decides to be crafty. Jasper and Taelynn are loving this, glue, sticks, construction paper, and sprinkles(mommy was out of glitter). Now how awesome is he?!!!! Seriously, he is the BEST DADDY ever! I truly love him, and love the way he loves our girls.

Well, yesterday we went to the biggest birthday party for a four year old that I have heard of. It was an incredible time, Thank you Heidi, for having us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ava!!!!! This party was so amazing, my friend. I do not think one little detail was left out. Here are a few photos from our night. Kids are so much fun. My friend Kori and I got to hang out together today and our kids play so well together. After a day of playing, and going to school, we decided the kiddos needed a nap. It took them quite a while to get settled down together, but the two youngest finally closed their eyes. The two oldest did not do the same, but they sure were cute with all the excuses and quiet playing they did. Some cute photos below.

Below has to be one of those moments you will never forget, or needs to be jotted down in a baby book . I was involved in a phone conversation and these two decided they were hungry. I had gotten out the stuff to make a quick sandwich and I got busy again. Turned around to this, TOO CUTE...... They of course licked most of what was supposed to go on the bread off the knife before making their snack. Also got along pretty well during the whole sharing thing. Oh, and yes this was the bottom of the jars, so I let them have a BLAST!!!!

Look at my girls, today was the first day of Pre-K. Jasper is a returning student but Taelynn is a first timer. Let me tell you, she is sooooo... big! She got out in carpool line held the tears back, gave me a big hug and kiss, and did not look back. When I picked her up she said she cried a little but had a fun time.
Jasper had a new T-shirt from her teacher to wear today, she was excited to wear it, too. She is in Mrs. Kings' lamb class. The little lamb on her shirt actually had her name on it.
Taelynn woke up and said "Yea, I get to wear my favorite dress" How cute!

Very big day today for them and me, I cried when my baby got out of our van. I just couldn't believe she is soo.... big!

On the other hand, I was kid free for most of the day!!!! :) I did start walking today which is something I plan on doing everyday when I drop both of them off. Pray for me that I stick to this. I really need this!

It is now time for homework and dinner so I'll post more later.

New Friendships

Today we had our new friends over for some pool time and a cook out. We just love these guys. Here are some pictures of the kids, and one of the boys! All the kids get along so well. Thursday Thirteen

I can not believe I am doing this right now, I have the craziest day and really do not have time.
I hope the Dr. appt for Savannah's knee goes okay and the injury heals fast!
I hope they don't have to do surgery on Taelynn's ear to remove her tubes. We will find out today at her appt.
I can not wait for Monday for ALL my kids to be in school for the first time!!!!
I am so glad Taelynn is HAPPY about going to school this year, her teacher Mrs. Dawn will be here in about 30 min.
I rearranged some rooms in my house and I am LOVING them! Jasper really likes her room now!
I started reading again and I am soo excited. Please, any suggestions for good books?
My last good read was The Shack!
I want a date night! We really need to schedule those more regular.
I am excited for my hubby, God has laid something on his heart that is...WOW!
We are going to start serving TOGETHER at the Warehouse on Wednesday nights. (Long awaited answered prayer)
God is soo.... GOOD!!!!!!
I HAVE to go and get ready now, my day is starting in about 25 min. and I am not ready!

Sassy Haircuts, Shaving Cream, and Homework...

Today, I took my two little ones for back to school haircuts. Jasper just got a trim but Taelynn.... well, you see we cut all her curls off. I KNOW, how could I??? The answer is she needed it, half of her hair was straight and the other side was curly, we needed to cut it all the same length. She LOVES it soo... much, a lot of sassiness came with this cut. After we got their new haircuts we went to Target, we got out of the van, the wind was blowing pretty good and Taelynn says "Hurry up this wind is messing up my new hair cut." At 3, how cute!

Here is the other half of this post, while I am taking pictures of the girls before bed, Savannah is in the shower doing her homework. Yes....her homework. She has a spelling contract to complete each week with a different assignment each night. One of her choices is to write her words in shaving cream. Who wouldn't want to do that one?! She had a blast doing this assignment. I love these kind of ideas to get kids excited about homework. Here she is!

Friday Night Fun

Alright, so tonight is Friday night and we were supposed to be going to a friends lake house for the weekend....not this weekend(at least not me and Savannah) John took the two little ones to his friend Tiger's lake house for some boating and jet ski fun!!!!! Why not Savannah and me??? Well, here it is.....

Savannah twisted her knee today at school and now they think she might have torn something and has fluid in her knee. She can not do any activity for 5 days! All is not lost though, we will have some one on one time tomorrow. I am sooo looking forward to that we have not really gotten to spend time together in a while. Oh, BTW Savannah made the worship team for kidz place at our church. I am so proud of her!!!! Savannah you ROCK!

Back 2 School

Well, Savannah is officially a Fourth Grader!!! Can you believe it?? I can't! This should be a GREAT YEAR for her, I do not know much about her teachers but today when she got home there were all kinds of papers for us to fill out concerning how she learns and lots of other stuff about her so they could get to know HER. Her teacher last year did not do that at all. (hopefully this is a good sign.) Savannah seems to be very excited about this year too. (another plus)

The only thing is there is no one that she really knows in her class. I just told her that it was an awesome opportunity to meet new friends.

I am soo... not ready for school to be back. The routine is going to kill me!!! I already miss sleeping late and doing whatever during the day. Although, I think I might be more excited on the 18th. Everyone will be at school then. Yea Me!!!!

Flashlight Walks

After we filled up on yummy snoballs, we couldn't let the night end there.(the kids had WAY ...too much energy) My mom and Granny had bought the kids flashlights so we took them on a "flashlight walk". They loved it! What kinds of treasures can you find in the dark?! One of the things the kids noticed was a mouse, yes a mouse hanging from a telephone wire. (actually a computer mouse left from Katrina) Anyway I'll be back later!

The girls and I took a road trip this weekend. That's right , for those of you who know me, this is the first trip alone with my girls. (I don't drive long distances very well) It was really good the girls were AWESOME! I will surely do it again. We got in Sunday morning around 11:00, then the family came over for a barb b que. YUM! YUM! We all had so much fun I love coming to New Orleans and seeing everyone!!! My sister is also here with her kids. Everyone under one roof, look out! Six kids and four women. Friends, Good Food, and Laughter!!

Tonight we had friends over for dinner with their two kids. It has been awhile since we have anyone over. I LOVE having friends over!! We had such a good time, they are kinda new friends from our AWESOME Sunday School class. I wished it was a weekend so they could have stayed longer, we really enjoyed their company and getting to know them better. Next time we will try to get together on a Saturday. John made his famous lasagna and Lisa brought dessert.....oh my... a brownie trifle!!! YUM! YUM! The kids did so good together too. That was a GREAT treat, Jasper surely made a new friend tonight. John says we need to get Brandon's heart right, he is a gator fan....YUCK! We will work on that this football season. I mean really, he lives in Georgia now, I am sure there is a DAWG in there somewhere! Only 6 weeks until football!!

She's Home

She is HOME!!!! I was so excited to see her today. She had a BLAST! Her favorite part was the wave pool. She made lots of new friends. When we started walking to the car she began telling me all about camp and did not stop for the next hour and a half.

Jasper's First Sleepover

Well, after a fun filled day at the pool Jasper came home to get ready for her friend Macauly to come over for her very first sleepover. I can't believe she is having sleepovers, I am just glad that it is with such a GREAT friend. Macauly and Jasper have been friends since they were born. We played and colored for awhile then we went to meet John at Roadhouse for dinner, the girls had a blast! Then we came home for some tattoo fun, then they asked to go to bed. Overall pretty easy, no drama!

BTW I am still missing my Savannah!!!

Catchin up with a friend

Today was a great day!! I got spend some time at the pool(which I LOVE) with my friend Hollie, I was soo... excited to catch up with her. We very rarely get to see each other, (that needs to change) our girls are really close in age just a few months apart. Addie and Jasper had a lot of fun together. It was awesome to see them at the pool swimming around so good. Especially jumping in the "deepness" (as Addie says) and swimming to the ladder. Hollie, it was so good to spend some one on one time let's do it again soon.

My BIG girl has gone to camp

Alright, she has left me for the week, boo hoo, she has really grown up too quickly. She left this morning for camp in Tennessee, with our church. I can not believe that I did not cry like a baby. I did tear up once but that was because when the bus pulled away, Taelynn started crying "I want my Savannah". So I was touched by the sisterly love. On the other hand, Jasper said "now can we call Macauly to have a sleepover?" (I told her while her sister was at camp she could have her friend sleep over.) Savannah is going to have so much fun, she won't be able to stand it. Every morning at 9:30 is their worship time and every night at 10:15 is their devotion time. We need to pray for all those at camp this week, at these times that they allow God to do a mighty work this week and lots of kids get saved!!! I am posting this in green because Savannah is on the green team this week, GO GREEN!!! I am going to miss her sooo.... much this week. Savannah, I am so proud of you and I know this will be the best time you will have this summer! I love you, Savannah.

Well, tonight was the first of the fireworks for us this weekend. We headed to Kennesaw with JoJo to see John's aunt and uncle in downtown. There was all kinds of stuff to do including a band tribute to Journey. I was really excited about that. I love some good music! We had a blast, the kids LOVED it, and the fireworks were awesome(sorry that the pictures of the fireworks did not turn out good at all). Thank you Tina and David for inviting us!! It was great to see yo and spend some time together.

I love routines in the summer. Pool here we come!! I LOVE to sit in the sun.
I miss my friend Ashley this summer.
My hubby is off tomorrow, can't wait to spend time with him.

Good Times

Today was such an awesome day! We spent the day with some great friends at the pool. I miss this group of friends soo.. much. Thank you Heidi for letting us hang out with you at your pool. I don't have a lot of time to blog right now so I will post some random pictures from the last two weeks later on. (since I have been out of touch) More on that later.

I am so behind on blogging, I said that I would post random pix of the last two weeks then in looking at the pictures I realized....oops..... I forgot to post anything for my baby's birthday. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TAELYNN!! I can not believe my baby is three years old already. We went to McDonalds for her little party, she invited 4 little friends and they played for two hours. It was a good time and oh my goodness, so easy!! Jasper wants hers there too, I think we might just do that. Anyway these are some of the pictures from Taelynn's big day.

This is all the dad's we got to spend Father's Day with. From left to right it's John, Jody(John's brother), Lisa's dad John, and Al my father-in -law! We had a great day, I just hope John had a wonderful time. I think he did. The girls were so excited to give daddy the gifts they picked out and our sweet Savannah made her dad the SWEETEST card ever!!! He LOVED it! After church we went to my sister-in-law's house for some pool fun in the sun and a shrimp boil. Let me tell you I sure missed being in New Orleans when I started smelling the shrimp, and I truely missed my PawPaw. He spent this Father's Day with our Father in heaven. My Granny had kinda a blue day he was missed by all. Granny I LOVE YOU!!!

This is John and his brother Jody. All the guys spent the afternoon watching golf on one tv then Deniro movies on the other outside, while Lisa and I took over thier job playing with ALL the kids in the pool(7 kids). I was soo... tired last night but it was worth it to see my baby having a good time with his brother and dad! Love you John, you are the GREATEST dad ever and the love of my life!!

Oh my! Vacation Bible School is almost over just one more day. This year has to be my favorite year yet, ALL of my kids are having a blast! We have kept soooo... busy this week I have not had the chance to keep everyone updated on the week like I had hoped. My nieces Tate and Rawlin have come to VBS this year so I have had the extra bonus of seeing them everyday! We have all hung out together for the last two days, I hope they have had as much fun as we have. It makes me smile to see cousins laughing and playing together.

Taelynn FINALLY got under the mushroom today, she has NOT liked anything that sprays water like a shower. (not even sprinklers)

"Saturday Night Fun"

I know this is a little late, better late than never. (It is VBS week I will probably be late all week) Saturday night we got a chance to go the zoo for a special event for Northside babies. (all babies that were born at Northside Hospital) This was a great night, the kids LOVE going to the zoo, Savannah was the only one who remembers this zoo though. The kids got their faces painted, got snow cones(which BTWcan not compare to sno balls), and got a chance to ride the train, plus see all the animals. The kids thought is was very cool to see Timone(merecat), Pumba(warthog) and Simba(well you know, lion) all in a row. Savannah's favorite I think was the Panda, Jasper, of course loved the monkeys and Taelynn was so excited about the elephants.

At the end of the night everyone was hungry so when this close to Varsity you can not pass it up. Although my little ones were tuckered out!!

Our Daddy is sooooo.... GREAT! I was out with Savannah and Jasper last night for their swim lesson and John was at home with Taelynn, this is what him and Taelynn played with while we were gone. How cool, the girls will not let me take it down!

My girls were so cute this morning they played so good together. While waiting on me to get ready for the pool they hung out in Jasper's room just like this for the whole Beauty and the Beast movie. (this NEVER happens)

One of my oldest friends came over today to hang out at our pool. My friend Karen brought her little boy Ty and her soon to be step daughter Meggie. This is Meggie with Taelynn she had so much fun with her in the water. I love catching up with old friends, we had a great time seeing each other again. It was nice to meet Meggie and I can't wait to meet the rest of the family. Karen, I am so happy to see you so happy !!! I love ya girl!

Meggie was awesome with the kids and they would not leave her alone. Jasper was thrilled to have Ty over at our pool. He is getting so big and he can swim like a fish, I mean sooo... good.

Here is Savannah and her friend Sara she has gotten to know at the pool. It was good to see her at the pool today, she spent the night there last night and again tonight . Savannah is having a fantastic summer so far, and there is more to come. I am so happy for her, we have VBS next week and I am bringing two of her friends with us all week. It would not be the same if I did not have extra kids.

I was just talking to someone and was reminded of how AWESOME GOD really is. I wish that my mind , my eyes, my mouth, and heart were always focused above on God. I just got news that someone in the ministry needs prayer. No one is perfect! People fall all the time, things are not always great! I know because my family has been through a great fall, but God has reached down dusted us off and said you are OK. Just like a dad would do. This process was not overnight actually it took us a while but I can honestly say "Thank you God for letting this come to the surface of my family, it has shown me what is really important in life and more on how to see You more in our daily activities. John and I are better because of that fall. I can love more deeply and smile all the time when my kids are in our presence. Thank you for ALL the blessing in my life and the health and happiness of my kids. The simple activities we have to do this summer. The vacations that we have taken, and are going to take soon. Just everything Lord, I can not say enough about You, God!!!! Well, guys thanks for listening to me, I just HAD to tell God what was on my heart right now! We are all truely blessed with a God like our God! I hope everyone has a wonderful day and remembers it's Gods doing.

Well I obviously have not gotten posting pix down pat since right now all my picture are from the end of the night to the beginning of the day. Next time I will do better! Anyway yesterday was my birthday and I got to spend all day at the Towne Lake Hills pool with one of Savannah's friends. I LOVE the sun so I was glad to be at a pool!!! After that we went home to shower up so I could take all my girls to get their toenails done. How much fun is that!! I LOVE having little girls they are tooo.. cute. After getting all our toes done we went to meet daddy at my favorite Italian place, Ippolitos. (yum! yum! yum!) JoJo also joined in on the fun, you can see in the pix below. I am sooo... pleased with my Savannah, last night for dinner she had seafood marinara.(clams, mussels, shrimp, and scallops) she loved it and ate all the seafood! Those of you who know me I don't stray away from the plain stuff on the menus too often so this was a big deal I thought I was going to waste the money on her entree but she surprised us all! Go girl, don't be picky like your momma. My little Taelynn getting he toes done!

A day with cousins....

Today we took my sisters two oldest kids to the dentist office for a cleaning, being summertime I had my whole crew with me. Fun, Fun, Fun, not! No really it was not that bad we actually had good times thank goodness they go to a dentist that has lots to play with while you wait. This is my sister Nicolette with my oldest daughter Savannah.

There is a tree house there that the kids took over and had a blast with. This is Gavin looking out the window with Jasper and my niece Grace in the background.

After the dentist we took the kids to McDonalds to have lunch and play. I am so thankful that we got to spend some time with them. I wish we could see them more often the kids are absolutely crazy about each other and it is a lot of fun to watch them play together. Thank you Nicolette for letting us hang out with you today the time was priceless! Congrats to Gracie, on her first day with panties!!!! she did great!!

SUMMERTIME IS HERE!!!!!

Today is our first official day of summer, so only fitting that we go to our home away from home. The pool!!! Gotta love it no alarm clocks, no homework, no schedules, just FUN, FUN, FUN, and SUN!!!

Taelynn is finally independent enough with swimmies and a ring so I do not have to be in the pool the entire time. Jasper and Taelynn play really well together in the pool, and Savannah normally finds a friend(which is a lifesaver otherwise I would have to entertain all three, not fun!)

Taelynn wiped out!!(when we got home today, it took her 4 minutes after her bath to fall asleep, let's HOPE she stays asleep all night)

ALRIGHT I KNOW THAT WE NEED THE RAIN BUT TODAY WAS OUR END OF THE YEAR PARTIES AND OF COURSE THEY WERE PLANNED FOR OUTSIDE. BOO HOO!!! JASPER WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A PICNIC THEMED PARTY, ANYWAY WE LAID OUT THE BLANKETS IN THE ROOM. (IMPROVISE!) I AM FEELING BITTERSWEET ABOUT TODAY, JASPER HAD THE BEST TEACHERS THIS YEAR AND MADE THE BEST OF FRIENDS, I KNOW SHE WILL MISS THEM A LOT!! Today and tonight was soo.. much fun, we were at the pool all day, and got to hang out with new friends, and saw some old friends too. The girls wore themselves out! After the pool we went home to have a quiet cookout with just the five of us. I have to say John made the BEST ribs I have ever tasted, even better than Houstons. Dinner was awesome!!! Then our friends the Sheets came over for a mini fireworks show and some ice cream. This weekend was so busy I am not sure we could have packed in another thing. I know I had a wonderful time and I think the girls and John did too. The guys hopin' they did not set anything on fire.

Today was a lot of fun!!!! We got lunch and brought it to the pool and stayed until the little ones NEEDED a nap (Jasper of course did not sleep, too big) Anyway Savannah did not want to go home, her bff Amber was with us and her parents had gotten there right as John was packing up the girls. So I stayed with Savannah for another hour or so.(probably not a good idea John also took the sunscreen and Savannah got a little sunburn.) When everyone got all cleaned up we took the girls to a movie, as Jasper says "movie feater". We saw the new Narnia movie, it was good! The girls loved it. Well, after the movie we finished the night at Jim Bobs, good as always, thanks Benny!

We had a GREAT night tonight! Just a little friendly game of Wii bowling (yeah right my girls are all about winning) Jasper has gotten SOO.... good at this game she beat me the first game. Besides we got daddy who is VERY serious about his game (look out)! You have to know that Savannah is the queen at bowling she ALWAYS wins. This was Jasper's strike! Go girl, you so good! Tonight we went to church to see the spring musical which Savannah and her bff Amber were singing in. It was too cute, FBCW always puts on a good show!!! The kids did awesome! We also got to see our good friends Hollie and Addie Hixson there, it was great to see them at our church (most of the time we have to go to Vinings in order to see them.) They did show the preschool choirs on the big screen so we got to see Jasper in the show too. Great job girls!

It was a busy day for us today. John had to work and I was at rehearsal for Savannah's spring musical. That was our morning, I had to miss my nephew's pre-k graduation and a birthday party, Congrats Gavin, we are proud of you man!!!! Also Happy Birthday to Ari!! After lunch we spent the rest of the day in the yard, laying pine straw and planting flowers and all the usual stuff. Savannah, I think was tired, she spent most of the day inside but the little ones were troopers. Jasper and Taelynn played outside ALL day, digging for worms and pulling each other in the wagon (2 cute!!) I have never seen my girls this dirty before, it was quite a scene. Well, what do you do when they are THAT dirty? You hose them down! Jasper could not get enough but Taelynn wasn't too sure about getting that wet from a hose. Anyway the yard is starting to look good now we will finish up tomorrow. John worked soooo.. hard, he is SOUND asleep right next to me and not even upset with the commotion of me on the computer. (can you believe it?) All your hard work is paying off honey, I love the way the yard looks.

Well it is now the end of the night and I am officially tired! After bubbles, poppers, sparklers, and a game of flashlight tag they came inside to do facemasks and makeup. Also we can't forget the Wii. They have had a BIG night, I think they enjoyed themselves. I am going to try and get a good night sleep since I just found out that the other adults in the house are leaving in the morning. Thank goodness for cold pizza for breakfast!!! Thank you to JoJo for taking the little sisters to a party at the Laniers and then letting them sleepover with her!

Today we had 4 little girls get off the school bus to come sleepover at our house. Savannah invited some close friends to come over to celebrate her bday. We had to keep them downstairs for a little while so John could hook up her present. She got a new TV and a Wii. She was thrilled to say the least, all she has talked about is a Wii. I posted some pictures of the girls having fun. They are soo... cute. I got them some sleepover necessities which will also be used later but right now they are playing American Idol and then when it gets dark they want to go outside to play some flashlight tag. Tonight the older girls had a BLAST at church. The 3rd thru 6th grade got to have a water night. They were able to get soaked and have some good clean fun!! I am so blessed to be a part of such an awesome church!! Savannah LOVES our church but also LOVES our Lord, she always invites her friends to church and shares Jesus with them all the time. She is such a great little witness!

This morning was soo... pretty we at breakfast outside, then went for a bike ride around the island. We rode the bikes on the beach to Shelter Cove Marina, pretty cool. The bike ride was fun but boy are we out of shape!!! We were wiped out so then decided to lay by the pool and have lunch. We went to Harbour Town this afternoon and walked up to the top of the lighthouse. Again pretty cool, we both enjoyed it a lot. For dinner we headed to South Beach to eat at the Salty Dog Cafe(we think something died there but that's all we can say about that), BIG disappointment. Not everything can be perfect. Well our trip is almost over, in the morning we are going to sit on the beach until late check out time. I am going to listen to the live band outside now so LATER!

WOW!!! This place is nice I love the palm trees and spanish moss everywhere. Today was soo... great, we had breakfast downstairs then went for a walk on the beach. We hung out at the beach most of the day then went to the pool to finish our time in the sun. A vacation isn't complete without a little shopping, so the rest of the day we did the tourist thing. Dinner was awesome we ate at a place called Aqua, the lobster was ...bangin! Tommorrow we are going to Habour Town, talk to ya then. Nite!

We are here !! Yea! Hilton Head Island! John and I are here for our 10 year anniversary. All by ourselves, can you believe it? I will post more over the weekend. Busy Day at the Cook Household.

Last night went fine. Just to let you know GNO was a hit with the girls! Everyone had a good nights sleep.

Today was an awesome day. Our very good friends Laura and Brent came over and we had a picnic at our park, the kids love when they come over because all "Uncle Brent" does is tickle and play. Then we got a phone call and was blessed with tickets to go see Lion King. (yea!!!) I have wanted to see this for years. It was soooo good. The kids did very good too, considering it was nap time. They all got souvenirs, and fell asleep in the car.

Of course the weekend would not be complete without a trip to Walmart. John and I needed a few things for the beach next weekend. The girls were not too happy to go shopping, so we had to take them to Mexican to make up for it. Now everyone is tucked with thier Zazus and Pumbas for the night. Be back soon!

We have had a GREAT night tonight, it was GNO with NiNi and Grace. We did make up and nails, you will see in the pix. They all have sleeping bags on Savannah's floor with matching pillow cases. (2 cute) Kudos to Auntie for that one. Savannah was a big help to NiNi and I with the kids tonight, thank you Savannah. We will get back to you in the AM to tell you how the night goes. Today was fun, Taelynn and I went and spent the morning with Jasper at her school. She had campfire PJ day today, they had smores and sang the veggie tales smore song. All the kids looked soooo.. cute in their PJ's. Of course little sister had to wear PJ's also, she thoght she was just one of the gang. Big night at church

We went to church tonight for the big opening of the Warehouse. It is the new building at FBCW for our middle schoolers and high schoolers. WOW!!!!! This building is sooo... cool! These kids are going to have tons of fun. Tonight they had hamburgers and hot dogs and lots of fun stuff for the kids, my kids had a lot of fun. They were flat wore out. Savannah tried the rock climbing wall tonight but it was harder than she thought. Savannah I am proud of you for trying something that you were unsure about!! Go girl! Tomorrow is the CRCT testing so we will be praying for Savannah thru the week that she can stay focused. Not much else to post right now, see ya later!

I guess I'm doing this right, this is my first time blogging. I have no idea what to type or tell anyone, we have kinda boring days. I could tell you about our day today. Here it goes, John started our day (as always on Sats) with a great breakfast. Soon after that we got the girls dressed to go to Gavin's (my nephew) T-ball game. He did GREAT!!! My girls were more interested in the local catepillars and building them a rock wall. Anyway we had a fun morning and now it's nap time. So, there is no more to report today maybe I'll get back later.
